"The Tangolunda Golf Club" 6,851 yards.

The club is located in Huatulco, Mexico and government owned. The Tangolunda golf course is the only golf course in the entire Huatulco beach resort area. The golf course was designed by Mario Schjetnan Dantan and Pedro Güereca.

The golf course was inaugurated in 1991 and it's located in a tropical forest area made up between three scenic lakes in approximately 73 acres.

Their first tee off time starts at 7:00 am and the last tee time to play 18 holes it’s around noon. However, for clients that arrive let’s say between 2:00 - 2:30 pm the golf club will charge you the 18 hole fee and will let you go until you finish. Sunset in winter is around 6:00 pm. The pro-shop and restaurant closes at 4:00pm but fear not, the bar stays open after 4:00 pm.

The Tangolunda Golf Club offers a very relaxed atmosphere, no strict golf attire is required but I strongly recommend not to golf in your speedos. Carts or caddies are not mandatory. You might choose to walk the course if you want or rent a pull cart for only 12 dollars.

Price wise the course is very affordable, staying at one of the nearby resorts will guarantee  you at least 20% off your green fee. The Camino Real Zaashila or Las Brisas, are awesome resorts. In order to get the discount, you must go to the concierge or the public relations office at your hotel and ask for the “discount coupon” which needs to be shown at the pro-shop to get the price reduction.
